Who We Serve

Mecklenburg County counts 36,472 employer establishments and 124,720 nonemployer establishments (U.S. Census Bureau, 2023). Those two figures describe our client: a company with a payroll, a network its revenue depends on, and a headcount too small to justify an internal IT department. Our minimum engagement is 10 users, and the businesses we support sit above that line without reaching the size that funds a full internal IT team.

Sector matters as much as size. Charlotte ranks second in the United States for banking assets, behind New York (Capital Analytics Associates), with Bank of America and Truist Financial headquartered here and Wells Fargo running its East Coast hub in the city; Atrium Health with Advocate Health is the region’s largest employer and Novant Health its second-largest hospital network. The firms that sell to, advise, build for or treat alongside those institutions inherit their security and audit requirements, so the sectors we serve are banking and financial services, healthcare, legal, manufacturing, architecture, engineering and construction, professional services, and nonprofits.

How We Work

Five rules govern every account, and each one is set before onboarding starts rather than negotiated afterwards.

Assessment Before Any Quote

No quote leaves this office without an assessment behind it. We inventory endpoints, servers, network devices and cloud tenants, check patch levels, MFA coverage and backup restore history, and our target is a completed assessment within 5 business days of the first call. The written report belongs to the business whether or not it signs with us.

Documentation From Day One

Every system we touch during onboarding is documented as we touch it: network diagram, credential vault, vendor contacts, licence records and recovery steps. That documentation is maintained as part of the monthly fee and reviewed every quarter. Any engineer on the team can take a ticket from it without a briefing call.

Fixed Monthly Fee With Published Tiers

Pricing is one rate per user per month, published on this site rather than revealed in a proposal: Essential at $125, Professional at $175 and Complete at $225 per user per month, all-inclusive. The minimum engagement is 10 users or $1,250 per month, whichever is greater. Month-to-month is available at list price, and a 12-month agreement earns 10% off list.

Response Targets With a Remedy

A P1 critical incident gets a first response within 15 minutes at any hour, because the help desk is staffed 24/7/365 and the clock starts when the ticket is created. Each missed P1 response target earns the client a service credit of 5% of that month’s fee on the next invoice, capped at 25% per month. The credit is written into the agreement rather than offered at our discretion.

You Keep Your Data, Documentation and Credentials

Microsoft 365 tenancies, domain registrations, backup repositories and security licences are registered in the client’s name from the first day. The agreement ends on 30 days’ notice, and full documentation, admin credentials and a data export are returned at no charge, with no transition fee. A client who leaves should be able to hand the next provider a complete environment on day one.

Yugesh Baral, founder and engineer at Managed IT Services Charlotte

Meet the Founder

Yugesh Baral Founder and Engineer

Yugesh Baral founded Managed IT Services Charlotte as an engineer first: the person who runs the initial assessment, reads the network and the backup logs himself, and writes the findings report a business keeps whether or not it signs. His work is helping Charlotte businesses run on systems that stay up, pass the cyber-insurance questionnaire, and cost a known amount each month.

He stays hands-on with client environments after onboarding, leads the quarterly vCIO reviews, and is the escalation point when a P1 is open.

Standards We Work To

The credentials below are the standards our engineers certify against and the programs we belong to, listed so a reader can check each one with its issuing body. They cover endpoint and network fundamentals, Microsoft cloud administration, security operations, service management, and the compliance frameworks our regulated clients are audited under.

Where We Work

On-site coverage starts in Uptown Charlotte, runs through the towns of Mecklenburg County, and reaches the nine counties of the Charlotte-Concord-Gastonia metro: Anson, Cabarrus, Gaston, Iredell, Lincoln and Mecklenburg in North Carolina, and Chester, Lancaster and York in South Carolina. Remote monitoring and help desk support reach every site equally. For hands-on work, any location within 25 miles of Uptown Charlotte carries no trip fee, with a 4-business-hour on-site target for a P1 or P2 that cannot be fixed remotely; mileage is billed for visits beyond that radius.

Talk to an Engineer

Your first call reaches a senior engineer rather than a sales queue, with a reply within one business hour, 8:00am to 6:00pm Eastern, Monday to Friday. Call , email hello@manageditservicescharlotte.co, or book the assessment and have the written report within 5 business days.
